My background
The writer’s life started for me as a news, sports and music journalist and then into travel publications. Website writing followed naturally when the world went digital.
Creative writing is my way to relax; sometimes it’s the way the letters seem to just sit right in a particular order, sometimes it’s the way words sound when spoken, sometimes it’s telling a story that needs to be told. On occasion, it’s just how the words spring from my mind.

When not writing, I play the guitar and manage an online football team with mixed success. I also love live music, reading and walking in the countryside. Cooking is simmering away as a new interest, too.
